Right or Wrong....

The human mind is a powerful thing. We are programmed from birth consciously and subconsciously to believe certain things. Have we allowed the right people and the right things to program us with the information we need to deal with this life?After a severe car accident and extreme life-long nerve pain as a result I began to question everything I had ever come to believe about life and the possibility of an eternal existence. If there was more to this life then being successful in the 9 to 5 world I had been taught. I wanted to find out who had the answers.Is there more to this life than being born getting an education playing sports finding friends getting a job so I can eat and live indoors grow old with a spouse then retire and die of old age? Is that it? Is that all there is to it? If there was nothing more to this life then raising kids to be good citizens and living in the 9 to 5 rat-race I had been taught I did not want to continue in this life. I was ready to end it.Is there a greater purpose to this life or are the Atheists right in saying we are just animated dust? I did not want to live with my severe nerve pain unless there was a purpose for being here; more than the standard schooling work retire and die!Whether you have decided there is an eternity to be concerned with or not you have made your decision. The question is have you made the right decision based on absolute truth; outside of any human's determination of what they believe the truth really is or are you just believing the information you have allowed to be programmed into your mind without questioning it? Have you been told the truth? Is there more?Does it really even matter? You have to decide for yourself or it will be decided for you.Either way ultimately like it or not the truth will win!
