This is the reason freedom of religion has been incorporated as a Fundamental right under part III of the Indian Constitution as the right of every citizen to freely profess propogate and practice his religion. However in the present scenario the violation of this right is largely being affected by some belligerents of society who does not respect other's view and tries to impose their views based upon their religion upon others. Hence the present study was conducted to analyse the right of freedom of religion along with various other aspects related to it. An extensive study of various judgements was made to comprehend various emerging shades of this right and their influence upon the individual and the society.</p>
