This collection features stories set in different periods in Saudi Arabia exploring various themes: the significance of books and escaping into reading the night and the hidden stories it reveals an obsessive man who collects secret reports on the girls in his neighborhood and a pseudo-intellectual who does not hesitate to steal others' writings for fame.Additionally the book includes a beautifully crafted essay that mimics the language of the 9th century Hijri (15th century AD) in the style of the historian Al-Maqrizi.Despite its small size this book is rich with content.
