Rise of the Regulators

<p>Twelve-year-old Nathanial Cobb never imagined his quiet life in the North Carolina backcountry would lead him straight into a rebellion. His father Elias a steadfast farmer with a growing sense of injustice joins a group of settlers determined to resist Governor William Tryon's oppressive rule. As tensions rise and whispers of revolt grow louder Nathanial finds himself swept into the heart of the uprising that will come to be known as the Battle of Alamance.</p><p>Through perilous encounters impossible choices and the weight of history on their shoulders Nathanial and Elias must stand together with their neighbors against Tryon's men. </p>
