Rising To The Sky

The story begins on the night of 31st December 1999 the New Year eve of the new century: seven distressed souls including Mr. Chandra Prakash Mamgain a retired accounting officer from the revenue department; Amrita Kandwal a housewife; Jai Barthwal a post graduate and free lancing accountant; Kavita Routhan a school teacher; Jagdish Sachchar a terribly diseased patient; Kripal Rajput and Ameesh Pradhan two great friends and college drop outs are found to be struggling with life for their different reasons of course. But eventually life takes a steep turn and these fallen souls fought their way out in the face of adversaries and rise themselves to the sky which is the main highlight of the whole plot. “Rising to the sky” beckons a story lineup that not only entertains but also motivates greatly. The local flavours of the enchanting Dehradun valley also gives an opportunity to look into the lives of the common and yet uncommon people and their innocent dreams and aspirations which might not be very great in the eyes of others especially the rich and influential but for these so called simple and common masses they keep a very special corner in their hearts.
