<p>Jase Wheaton's last 8 seconds almost killed him.</p><p> </p><p>Someone wants Jase Wheaton dead.</p><p> </p><p>He's been the rodeo champ for three years in a row but someone is looking to unseat his reign permanently.</p><p> </p><p>Kelly Lane's brake lines are cut just hours after helping a bull rider who insisted someone is trying to murder him. Now the plot has spread to her. When she reaches out to Jase hoping they can find someone who will believe they're in danger the attacker strikes again. </p><p> </p><p>The clock is ticking down to the final ride of the season. Everyone is a suspect as the attacks keep mounting. Jase and Kelly grow closer but when the killer makes themselves known Jase isn't sure he'll survive to see another day.</p>
