Role Of Dietary Factors In Cancer

<p><b>This book deals with the results of a study aimed at achieving more precise information regarding the complex inter-relationship between certain dietary factors and carcinogenesis. As diet and nutrition play an important part in our well being it is but natural to focus attention upon them with a view to gain a better insight into their role in cancer promotion and prevention.</b></p><p><b>This study shows that a low fat diet depresses skin tumorigenesis and high fat diet has a promoting effect in mouse skin tumorigenesis. Vitamin E when administered parenterally/applied topically for a prolonged period of time has significant protective effect while vitamin C at high doses and Selenium have protective effects in this tumor model.</b> </p>
