Romance on the Hector

<p>Madeline is saddened to leave her family and home in the parish of Kintail located in the Highlands of Scotland. </p><p>However pleased to be a governess for the children of Laird and Lady Fraser as they board the tall sailing craft called Hector. A loving relationship evolves as she arrives at the wharf and meets Piper MacKay and the crew of the sailing ship.</p><p>During the long voyage she develops a bonding friendship with Piper Mackay the Frasers' family and a shipmate by the name of Malcolm.</p><p>Death and Tragedy takes hold of the vessel and a sad life-threatening disease runs rampant throughout the sailing ship. The Hector survives this epidemic only to sail into a ferocious thunderstorm that turns the vessel back towards the shores of Scotland.</p>
