Romanian cultural landmarks in contemporary sociology

The book portrays the material spiritual instrumental and symbolic values that constitute the cultural equipment of our people its historic interior affective and psychological memory. Taking ideas from other cultures and civilizations that we came in contact with by relating to other cultures the Romanian society transmitted them to the generations that constitute the spiritual identity materialized in the artistic and scientific creation the social and philosophic thinking. The great creators expressed through their works their way of thinking of feeling of relating to the history and other cultures concisely the essential of the human condition.As resulting from the text of this paper some works although important for their age become historicized while other remain permanently active because of the axiological and semantic density allowing new interpretations each period of time having a new vision on the past their creators being rediscovered and re-valued from innovative perspectives.The work is pointing out the extreme positions the exclusivist forms the polemics having the role of offering vitality to culture.
