<p class=ql-align-right>ویلیام شکسپیر (۱۶۱۶-۱۵۶۴) شاعر، نمایشنامه نویس و بازیگر تئاتر انگلیسیست که بسیاری وی را بزرگترین نویسنده در زبان انگلیسی دانسته اند. شکسپیر در واریک شر متولد و بزرگ شد در هجده سالگی ازدواج کرد و صاحب سه فرزند شد آثار شکسپیر به همه زبانهای دنیا ترجمه شده و نمایشنامههای او به کرات و توسط بازیگران برجسته جهان اجرا گردیده اند</p><p class=ql-align-right></p><p class=ql-align-right>رومئو و ژولیت نمایشنامهای تراژیک است در پنج پرده که یکی از محبوبترین نمایشنامههای شکسپیر در زمان حیاتش بوده و امروزه شخصیتهای اصلی داستان به عنوان عاشقانی آرمانی در میان ملل مختلف یاد میشوند</p><p class=ql-align-right>این ترجمه بر اساس نسخۀ بسیار معتبر و ویراست شده فلجر انجام شده که در انتها نیز دو واکاوی نمایش، به قلم دکتر علی خراعی فر، سردبیر محترم مجله مترجم و میرمجید عُمرانی مترجم رسمی بنیاد ایبسن دانشگاه اسلو به آن اضافه گردیده است</p><p class=ql-align-right>رومئو و ژولیت از یکسو داستان عشقی پاک نهاد و فرازمینیست عشقی که چون شهابی درخشان از راه میرسد و ردی ماندگار بر پهنه آسمان بشریت بر جای میگذارد و از سویی دیگر داستان کینه مندی، جهالت و عنادی ست که بینشان از هرچه خرد و خردمندی زبانه میکشد به آتشی ویرانگر زندگیها را میسوزاند و سرنوشت مردمان و سرزمینها را تباه میسازد</p><p class=ql-align-right></p><p><strong>William Shakespeare (1564-1616) was an English poet playwright and stage actor widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language.</strong> He was born and raised in Warwickshire married at the age of eighteen and became the father of three children. Shakespeare's works have been translated into all the world's major languages and his plays have been performed countless times by distinguished actors across the globe.</p><p><strong><em>Romeo and Juliet</em> is a tragic play in five acts and was one of Shakespeare's most popular works during his lifetime.</strong> Today the main characters of the story are remembered among many nations as idealized lovers.</p><p>This translation is based on the highly reliable and edited <strong>Folger edition</strong> and at the end includes two analyses of the play written by <strong>Dr. Ali Khaza'i-far</strong> the respected editor-in-chief of <em>Motarjem</em> magazine and <strong>Mir-Majid Omrani</strong> the official translator for the Ibsen Foundation at the University of Oslo.</p><p><strong><em>Romeo and Juliet</em> is on one hand the story of a pure and transcendent love</strong>-a love that appears like a brilliant meteor and leaves an enduring trace across the sky of humanity. <strong>On the other hand it is the story of hatred ignorance and stubborn enmity</strong> flames that rise far above all reason and wisdom burning lives to ashes and devastating the fate of peoples and lands.</p>
