<p>Accomplished Canadian multi-media sculptor Sarie Marais tells her story personal evolution and development as an individual and artist. Starting with her roots in the war-torn Netherlands through immigration to Canada with her family and her early years in Canada as a young wife and mother we follow her growing dissatisfaction with the expectations and lack of choices in a Dutch Reformed Church family. Her eventual rebellion comes at a huge personal cost but also leads to the launching of her career. With time as a great healer a level of reconciliation with her family occurs and most of all peace with herself.</p>
