Geography of Soil

<p>This book first published in 1965 was the first by a British soil expert in which he wrote a study of his subject from a geographical not an agricultural or biological viewpoint. Chapters 1-8 deal with the factors and processes in soil formation. Chapters 9-17 describe the soil groups of the different regions of the world – for example desert and tundra the boreal zone the Mediterranean and intertropical areas.</p>
