Royal Ship of Cheops

<p>In 1 954 the beautifully preserved timbers of a 43.m (1 43.97') funerary vessel were discovered stacked in a limestone pit carved from the bedrock beside the Great Pyramid at.Giza Egypt. Dated by cartouche to the Fourth Dynasty reigns of Khufu· (Cheops) and <strong>his son </strong>Djedefre some 4500 years ago most of the details of this historie discovery and the work that followed have remained unknown.
