ruminations of the heart

Have you ever had a love that you thought wouldn't quit? That's what I thought I had. The joy that I felt with her was indescribable. Pure love comes along just once. Then that kind of love abandoned me. Left me for dead and these poems are how I felt when I had it then lost it. Now I don't know if they will help anyone but writing them sure helped me cope. A kind of therapy for my heart. It's deeply scarred and will be forever. But you don't just stop loving someone. You just try to move on and find someone to fill the void left behind and maybe just maybe you can find love again.
