About the Author: Keen to literary research and creative writing Dr. Hiten Solanki has been conducting research in postcolonial literature since his post-graduation studies. He discoursed a dissertation on J. M. Coetzee’s fiction to analyze the socio-political milieu of South Africa while pursuing M.Phil. Directing his research instincts to South Asian literature he studied SAARC writing in English while pursuing Ph.D. After a kaleidoscopic reading of SAARC Literature he analyzed the literary scenario of SAARC state members – India Pakistan Nepal and Afghanistan; SAARC: Nations and Narratives is based on this research. He has two chapters in two different books and a few research articles to his credit. Having engaged with literary reading and research studies for more than ten long years he is inclined to creative writing and aspires to be a writer.
