Sacred Cords

Hemma Myers Sood sixth book Karmic Cords, was a poignant narrative of her tragic personal loss. She penned it amidst grief and angst, devastated by her vivacious brother’s sudden passing. Diwali celebrations stalled in seconds when she accosted the tragic reality. After a night of celebrations and gaiety, there was a calamitous change in the seasons of her life. Her parents and her family mourned stoically, overwhelmed with grief. She chose to write this book and to reminiscence on her happy childhood memories as a healing tool. As she wrote, the pain eased and catalysed her long-drawn healing process. In retrospect, she cogitated on the ironic twist of losing her only sibling; inexplicable are the ways of the Divine! Her brother came into her life like a shooting star, a streak of luminescence. Stoically, she chose to be illuminated by his radiance rather than burn out with grief and sorrow. This book has been revised in November 2022 and metamorphosed into her tenth book – Sacred Cords. This book reveals enlightening insights into the mysticism surrounding the afterlife.
