<p>When a retired cop introduces an Orthodox Jewish lawyer to a group of Native American clients looking to sue the County for the return of their peyote and other religious materials a few different worlds collide in a sometimes comical most times deep and meaningful way. Freedom of religion cultural and religious tolerance and issues of self-esteem pervade the case as through the litigation all parties involved come to learn more about the other and themselves all of which help the attorney and his family appreciate their connection to each other and G-d.</p><p> </p><p>Inspired by a real-life court case award-winning trial attorney Michael Schwartz's <em>Sacreds</em> is not only courtroom drama but also a character study of the common ground we all walk on as human beings as well as the differences we can and should appreciate and revel in-and how there really are no coincidences in this world.</p>
