The team has been brought together. The next task is harder than getting them together: they have to work together. Two dozen different personalities with different perspectives different thresholds and diverse enough to make anyone question how they even stand being around each other. What makes a team? The easy work or the despair and pain that they undergo? Magic blood gore powers beyond their comprehension and brute force are some of the facets that shape this team to get it to what it needs to be.
