Thus while taking a home-study class from Brigham Young University (BYU) in 1991 she used this surprising drama as one of her class assignments for her fiction class. Later she turned it into a children's illustrated book. She was also a soccer coach for three of her six boys for soccer so at the end of spring soccer she would print up the original black and white images on colored paper and give a copy to each of her soccer kids.
