Sadie's Bargain

Thirteen year-old Sadie Barton is a trick rider with The Cowgirl Chicks an all-girl western trick riding team which performs at professional rodeos and entertainment venues all across the country. She is funny gregarious and adventurous - an inspiration to the thousands of young fans she meets on the rodeo circuit. But while it may seem like a charmed life Sadie struggles with her parents' divorce a lack of interest in school and a longing to be accepted into the so-called popular group. She navigates through 7th grade - kicking and screaming while feeling trapped in that awkward tweener stage of life.
