Sahafat Ka Pardaphash

Cancer-affected media has not only spoiled the condition of society and democracy but also poisoned our countrys peoples minds. My objectives behind writing this poem are to abreast and create awareness to the public on this issue. The media which was supposed to be the fourth pillar of democracy whose duty was to ask questions to the government in power has sold its respect. In such a condition people--for the sake of the countrys concern--need to be aware and question the media. Failing to answer then they should be brought under the radar of various laws provisioned for the people who are part of that industry. We should plead for the medias prosecution. There are big socio-economic and political responsibilities on the media which it is running away from. The countrys power is its people not its media. It is believed that at one time the media used to present the truth but now it is doing just the opposite. In such conditions the public needs to protect country on their own; depending on the media is not an option anymore. I request my fellow countrymen to come forward and beware of the murderous media. Even if just one fellow countryman is influenced by my poem for the love of my country I will believe the objective behind writing this poem has been successful.
