Saharan Safari

<p>The trip into the Sahara was more dangerous and life threatening than our other trips. However it would not have been possible without our self- contained VW Camper. Seeing the unique wildlife in the Sahara was a strong incentive.</p> <p>Frequently the only road markers were barrels and most of them were covered with blown sand. We traveled in convoy with three German students in the required areas. They were a little wild and left us in their dust. We needed our compass to navigate. At one point the Germans went over a bank and lost all their battery fluid. At times tracks went in every direction causing some confusion. There were frightening incidences but fortunately we survived. </p> <p>We hope you enjoy traveling with us. </p> <p>-Ted and Emma</p>
