<p>Teenager Destiny Wallace arrives at the Port Authority Bus Terminal with a suitcase a sleeping bag and a trailer park past she'd rather leave behind.</p><p>She'd be just another newcomer to the city except for one thing: she can heal people with a touch.</p><p>How she got this power is a secretshe keeps tightly guarded.</p><p>Whatever. She's got the skills. She's got the drive. Nothing can keep her from her American Dream of fame and fortune. She's going to make herself into a celebrity fusion of Dr. Oz and Ariana Grande. Should be a slam dunk.</p><p>But no.</p><p>The problem isn't so much the doubting doctors. Or a double-crossing reality show host. Or a wannabe assassin. Or even the United States Air Force. Haters gonna hate right?</p><p>Nope. What's getting in her way is some crap about honesty and morality. She really doesn't understand how any of that matters. Like she's healing people. </p><p></p><p><em>Why can't the world just give her what she wants?</em></p>
