Saline Water and Oats

Salinity is a major challenge when it''s come to the quality of water for irrigation purpose. Most of the ground water is of poor quality to meet the standard requirement for the irrigation purpose. Continuous use saline water builds up soil salinity and adverse effect on crop growth. On the other hand there is a chronic shortage of fodder for livestock. Lack of adequate feeding ultimately affects the milk production at large and hits the nutritional security. We must have a plan for judicious of poor quality water for production purpose and saline tolerant crops. The study was taken to evaluate the effect of saline water on nutritional status of fodder to be fed to animals with different fertilizer doses.
