Salivary gland tumors are relatively uncommon lesions accounting for 3–6% of all head and neck neoplasms. The global incidence of these tumors is 0.4–13.5 per 100000 persons annually. These neoplasms are composed of heterogeneous groups of tumors with variable histological pictures. The site patient’s age and sex distributions of different types of salivary gland neoplasms vary with race and geographic location. The incidence of these tumors is different in between geographic areas and ethnic groups. They may be subdivided into benign neoplasms and malignant neoplasms.The aim of this book is to discuss the etiology classifications clinical features diagnosis management surgical procedures and complications associated with various salivary gland tumours.
