Salmonella as a risk of public health importance

Over the last few years the risk of food-born diseases became a burning issue all over the world. As food safety issue becomes a global concern and among those microorganisms which results in food borne illness Salmonella is a major concern for the livestock industry and public health aspect all over the world. It is estimated that 80.3 million cases of food borne Salmonellosis occur annually in the world.
