<p>I am neither a Karmendriya like hands or feet<br/>Nor a Jnanendriya like eyes or ears.<br/>I am not one of the great elements &mdash; earth water fire air or space.<br/>Nor am I the five vital energies (Pranas) that sustain the body.<br/>I am not the mind nor thoughts nor emotions.<br/>I am not even the seven chakras of the body.<br/>I am pure consciousness.<br/>I am the very embodiment of blissful awareness &mdash;<br/>I am the soul.<br/>My body will turn to ashes;<br/>But I &mdash; I am eternal.</p>
