<p>In the last one hundred years aviation has evolved from an endeavor of a sublime few to the involvement of the mundane many. This first in a series of books gives a humorous overview of that transformation through the eyes of Sammy—a Sopwith Camel an early British mass-produced aircraft during the First World War. This is a story of Sammy’s long working life and the development of aviation as seen through his eyes.<br /> <br />The detail of his adventures in each of the three wars and the intervening periods of peace between will be told in future books.</p>
