<p>Novelette refers to a brief book or novella. A novel written on a small canvas is known as a Novelette and has a distinct place in terms of brevity when compared to the novel. As though the novelette is merely a type of short novel which emerged in the form of the novelette prior to the Renaissance following a certain trend and gradient. The Urdu novel originated in the West just like other genres. 'Samundar Qatra Samundar' is a novelette written in the backdrop of ancient city culture of Taxila by Rasheed Amjad.</p><p><br></p>
