Sandhigatavata Vs Amavata : Understanding the Difference

Sandhigatavata is chronic degenerative disease due to wear and tear of joints and Amavata is auto-immune disease. Sandhigatavata is common in men affects both the sexes equally and Amavata affects more women than men. Age of onset is over 60 years in Sandhigatavata and 35 to 45 years in Amavata.
