<p>In the world of The Academy there are many different groups of people. Vampires and Werewolves also known as Curse-Bloods are one such group. Through generations of work and struggle despite their nature the world has come to have a peaceful co-existence with the Curse-Bloods. However during the night of a full moon while Vampires seek to keep the Werewolves in check one attack stands out as different from the rest.</p><p>Angelica a Vampire Lord who seeks to protect everyone she can saves a young man from a werewolf attack only to find more trouble. Werewolves transforming outside the time of a full moon.</p><p>Alaric Blood-bonded of Angelica and Underlord of the Great Plains Hive of vampires must investigate the cause of these transformations in the hope of preventing unexpected transformations and deaths.</p><p>Their investigation will lead them across the ocean through several parts of Europe to the Elder Hive in Transylvania.
