São Paulo studies

This book presents a collection of 15 texts written over the last ten years published sparsely in scientific journals and proceedings of seminars and conferences. These are writings produced in the field of History mainly on the history of art and discourses on art as well as reflections on heritage and museums. There are also some texts dealing with certain aspects of environmental history and the regional history of Maranhão. The collection is preceded by an Introduction written by Sebastian Henkelmann and is illustrated by some of his most recent prints.
