Sara's Stable

What does a little girl and a stable a boy lost on the way to Bethlehem a silent shepherd two inn keepers competing for the most filled inn angels singing and a little girl's discovery in an attic have to do with the Christmas story? Sara's Stable the opening play in a list of plays tells the story of a little girl's love for her father's smelly stable. Sara believes something wonderful will happen there and despite her family's disapproval of her love for the stable Sara continues to spend time there. When a man arrives to purchase the stable to put people in it Sara begs her father not to sell it. She is certain that something wonderful is about to happen in her stable that night!
