The 'Iron Man of India' Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is considered as one of the founding fathers of the Republic of India who played a leading role in country's Struggle for Independence. In the honour of the 'Iron Man of India' - Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Gujarat government is going to build the 'Statue of Unity' at Sadhu Bet a few miles away from the Sardar Sarovar Dam on the riverbed of Narmada. This will be the world's tallest statue and a tribute to the great patriot and architect of modern India.
