Since this Gujarati novel titled Soundaryana Sarovarthe Vairagya Na Shikhare is very long it has been divided into three parts and the first half of it has been published as a book titled Anavrita. It has become very popular and has been warmly received by hundreds of people. In this part a film actress Miss Malini who spends a night naked tests the restraint of the young man who spends the night with her. The next year the same night the young man goes out to meet her but before he can meet her four miscreants gang-rape her brutally murder her and escape. Which directly accuses this young man and sends him to jail. Now the second part of this book is being published under the name of Komalangini which is a special joy. In this part the young man is also accused of murdering another person and is sentenced to seven years in prison. In the end his lawyer acquits him of both the charges by giving strong arguments and evidence in both the upper and lower courts. He also gets his inheritance as per Miss Malini''s will. With the help of this money this young man takes revenge on all four of Miss Malini''s murderers by inflicting painful and dangerous deaths one after the other. Along with this he feels remorse for committing such a heinous crime. Due to this he indulges in charity to find peace and ultimately turns to asceticism. Here many incidents have been shaped by giving prominence to Rodra and Bibhats Rasa touching them to their extremes. In the end the story has been diverted towards Shantarasa. Many small and wonderful stories can be made from these incidents. In this book according to the incidents the wonderful story of King Bharathari and the translations of many verses of his centuries have been included. Which enhances the beauty of this book and makes it shine again like gold. The co-authors of the three-part book “Saundaryana sarovarethi vairagyaa shikhare” means From the Lake of Beauty to the Peak of Dispassion are Mahesh Kumar Kunwariya and Rajesh Kumar Mer. During the final stages of this book Shri Mahesh Kumar whose introduction has been given in the first part sadly passed away. The co-author of this book is Shri R. M. Mer M. Sc. (Botany) B. Ed. He has served as an assistant teacher in Adarsh Residential Schools at different places for about thirty years. He has given a twelve-planet theory about the formation of our solar system. He has given a new formula and a new way of solving the Pell’s equations. However his interest has always been towards literature and arts.
