The original stories of Joel Chandler Harris and his whimsical critters have slowly dimmed from our view if not disappeared completely. Oh I certainly hope not. If so then accept this meager effort to recapture if only for the moment the magic that belongs to childhood curiosoty anticipation and the wonder of delightful silliness as our friends slueth the case of missing blueberry pies...There are lessons to be learned characters perceived with misunderstood and questionable motives that need pondering.
