<p>This true story of a throw away German Shepherd dog bears witness to the love trust and determination of the animal spirit.Her Facebook Family became part of her extended family and continues to make a difference in the effort to end animal abuse and neglect. Through their constant encouragement Sandy's mom and dad were able to provide Sandy with quality of life. They shared their hearts their love their gifts and their lives with us for over a year on a continuous journey filled with trials long hours perseverance and most of all filled with life lessons. One dog named Sandy. An unexpected gift to us and to all who were blessed by knowing her.To you the friends who posted and loved her so the Facebook Family that remains even now our heartfelt love and thanks. We are so grateful that she touched your lives and that through her many of you began to volunteer in shelters adopted pets needing homes and became advocates for animals in need. </p>
