<p><em><strong>A dead body near an alley dumpster puts Jynx back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.</strong></em><br><br>A knife in the chest of the Vice Mayor wasn't how Jynx wanted to finish out her night. To be fair it probably wasn't how he wanted it either. But here she was in the middle of another investigation. Only this time her boss Mr. Rosett is the main suspect. Help for him comes in the form of her ex-boyfriend a lawyer who'd come across the country to lend a hand.<br>If trying to figure all that out wasn't enough she and her father have a new houseguest. Her estranged aunt has come to Trapper Lakes and is going to be moving there to begin the school season as the town's new music teacher. Will Jynx be able to keep it all together while solving the case and navigating the tricky keys to being in the same town as her exes?</p>
