Scars

The scar particularly the facial is not aesthetically pleasing and can cause psychological distress to patients resulting in poor body image reduced self-esteem generally loss of confidence and at times certain social stigma. Our skin undergoes an endurance test on a day-to-day basis throughout our life. Common injuries cuts burns accidents surgeries and inflammatory skin diseases constitute an incomplete list of reasons for scarring.
