This research analyzes the application process and the results of a methodological proposal of theater based on the following question: how can the theater be used as a tool for dialogue to combat violence whether it is gender racial social or many others that are still part of everyday life? From a methodological approach of research and assembly I promote an in-depth study on diversity focused on gender issues and the Brazilian educational scenario. For this purpose a dramaturgical proposal was built from fragments of the themes in a collaborative process with students: the play Transcorpos. During the research it became clear the need to form a theatrical collective focused on research dialogue creation and staging of the play. Augusto Boal''s Theater of the Oppressed was used as a means of action and reflection on the themes addressed and especially on the relationship between oppressor and oppressed.
