School and city

Maria Constança is a school in Campo Grande/MS and was the subject of research for my master's thesis since it was built in the 1950s by architect Oscar Niemeyer and was a school of great importance to the city of Campo Grande. The aim of the research was to find the meanings of this school space from the beginning of its educational activities until 2004. This is because the line of research: School Culture and School Disciplines. research allowed us to find some evidence that highlighted this school. The school is a place of memory and when you look through the thicket of time you can see recognizable traces of school history because the city and the school are two spaces conceived in modern times that have a very organic connection.
