Science of Synthesis of novel antitumor compounds

On surveying the literature focusing on the last decade it was found that a considerable work dealing with the chemistry uses and applications of diaryl sulfides containing different hetero-cyclic and other organic moieties have been published. Diaryl sulfides is not only the key structural elements of the most widely employed class of antibacterial drugs but also act as building blocks in certain polymers commonly used in moulding coating adhesive membranes composite matrices and engineering thermoplastics.
