Scientometric Portraits of Nobel Laureates in the Field of Physics

This Scientometric study is on selected Nobel Laureates in the field of Physics (from 2008 to 2011) has clearly demonstrated by analyzing their publication productivity and its impact throw light on history of science in their area of research activity scientific development interactions in the research group organization of a research system sociology of knowledge and quality of scientific leadership in the dissemination of research results with clear perceptions about the work they had involved in. Studying scientific lives of successful and eminent scientists and highlighting their achievements will certainly have a lasting impression on the minds of younger generation. Such studies may help in motivating younger generation and scientists towards higher productivity and creativity in the field of studies.
