With no experience and ignoring the danger Gary Gerson took incredible risks to climb out of his inconsequential East Tennessee life by trying out for a Division I football team. While the rewards were hidden the rebuilt Gerson soon started on a series of world adventures that delivered him into an improbable and earth-shattering love. Shelley's painful secret and similar rebirth inspired him to return to the gridiron for one last shot at football glory.
