Scorpio's Skirmish

The book is the mythical stories behind the constellations Scorpio the Scorpion and Orion the Hunter. Orion is out to impress a young lady Diana when he unnecessarily slaughters animals. Feeling partially responsible Diana goes away to mull over the massacre. Mother Nature sends Scorpio to attack and kill Orion for his terrible deed. The two battle until Orion swims into the water where the scorpion will not venture. Unaware that Orion is swimming toward her Diana takes aim with her bow at the object in the water and kills Orion.
