About The Book

Frank Freeland is an American west historian. He has served in the United States Marines, and retired from the National Guard with the rank of Master Sergeant. He had a twenty-six year career in law enforcement and retired as a Lieutenant. He has Bachelor Degree in Public Administration and a Masters Degree in Management. He is active in Civil War re-enactments as a Berdan Sharpshooter. He also is an armature actor in American west re-enactment productions where he writes scripts and is the troupe's Director. He lives with his wife Linda near Reno, Nevada and volunteers with the local Sheriffs Office. They have four grown children and eight grandchildren.
