Sea of Sorrows takes place at the same time as Rush of Ravens. Readers may skip Sea of Sorrows if they wish but the story gives insight into a character's life before and during the events of Rush of Ravens which will help the reader to be more immersed in the events of book 2 Dawn of Doves.</p>
