<p>The two volumes of 61 sermons written by Peadar Ua Laoghaire are edited here in one volume. Also included is the Catechism that he edited as well as common prayers the Litany of Jesus and the Litany of Mary. This book is in the Munster Irish dialect of West Muskerry. A glossary with more than 2000 entries explains the relationship between the vocabulary used here and Standard Irish. These sermons have a very traditional take on Catholic church teaching affirming the reality of heaven and hell calling on parishioners to repent their sins attend Holy Communion and do good works while avoiding the seven mortal sins.</p>
