Filled with bits of humor and sprinkled with crazy struggles and raw emotion Searching for Sadie is a romantic adventure about a young woman trying to pick up the pieces of her broken heart by starting over alone in the wilds of Alaska.After the unexpected death of her young husband Sadie wants nothing to do with people or modern society ever again.Shes done.Angry.Over it.So she jumps headfirst into the seclusion of an island in Southeast Alaska to be by herself and rebuild her life. Living so remotely turns out to be a lot different than she expected though. She quickly learns that she has bitten off a bit more than she can chew.Confronted with bears starvation sickness bad weather and old wounds the stubborn and clever Sadie is forced to rely on the help of others.
