Seasons of Eden

Written by native San Diegan Rose Marie Cockerham Seasons of Eden is an introspective collection of original poems which highlight the theme of self discovery and growth. A select few of poems also reveal undertones of religion to add spiritual meaning to the journey of enduring life's obstacles as well as appreciate its beauty. The title Seasons of Eden thus symbolizes the unique seasons of life that we all eventually face at some point. These seasons are broken down into the appropriate sections: I. Birth; II. Live Love Learn; III. Death; and IV. Rebirth. The purpose behind writing and composing these collection of poems is to connect to readers who have had similar emotional trials of feeling lost alone unloved or misunderstood and provide them with words of joy faith and wisdom as the book progresses.
